Old or New——Taxation Service from Lawyers

The reporter learned from the Taxation Law Forum of 2011 & the First China Tax Lawyer Forum that Tax Lawyers has become a new industry differs from the old image of lawyers.

The forum is held at Beijing from October 27 to October 28, and is held by All China Lawyers Association, co-held by economic commission of ALCA, PKU law school, etc and sponsored by Hwuason Law Firm under the topic of Taxation Services - Opportunities and Challenges of the Development of China Tax Lawyers. Leaders from the ACLA, SAT, Tax Bureau, Colleges and the Bar presented the meeting and had given great speeches concentrating on significant topics of China Tax.

Tax lawyers mainly engaged in consulting service, tax audit service, tax preferential treatment service, tax plan, cross boarder service and taxpayer rights remedy.

Tax lawyer is not a new word in foreign countries as it has a history of hundreds of years, but it is still new in our country. The new tax system reform will probably open a new gate for the development of tax lawyers.
